Black Brazilian Death Mansion

Bondedorole2

It's never a bad time to rock out; with or without your genitalia out is a decision only you and your doctor can make. There are some pretty fun shows lined up this week. First up is the Florida-based band with a slightly misleading name, the Black Kids. It's like how the Brazilian Girls are neither from Brazil or all girls! It's basically indie disco with a whole lot of synths. Tue, May 13, 8pm, $17 at Studio B, 259 Banker St

On Wednesday, actual Brazilians Bonde Do Role (pictured) will be pumping their strange brand of samba/dance pop/anthem rock with The Death Set. Wed, May 14, 8pm, $12 at Europa, 98 Meserole Ave

For a less hectic show, check out Scary Mansion. The band is lead by local Williamsburg resident and graphic novel artist Leah Hayes, and the music is beautiful and moody. Are youuu reeeady to get pensive? Wed, May 14, 9pm at Glasslands, 289 Kent Ave
