Mix Tape Mixer at the Fix
If you aren't at McCarren pool waiting for the Breeders or on Havemeyer watching the Italians then what the hell are you doing with your life? At least get off your ass and make a mix tape for Fix Tape Exchange at Sound Fix tonight. The theme is food, and if you don't have a tape player then you can put your play list on a CD. When you bring in your mix you get a free drink at the bar--plus you get a free friend and some free music. It starts at 8pm tonight.
At the pool, they seem to have stopped letting people in around 5:15 p.m. As of about 5:45 p.m., a big crowd was waiting outside...
